There is close support from surgical, anaesthetic and medical specialities within the hospital. Additional out-of-hours cover is provided by neurosurgical colleagues.
There are four training grade doctors from the West of Scotland Foundation and GPVTS Programmes and a Speciality Doctor providing ward cover. The Unit also trains Registrars in Rehabilitation Medicine. The junior rota is arranged by Dr Lowe, Registrar and Dr Nekkare, Consultant Neurologist. The medical staff handbook can be found here.
